BIOgraphy
Malvina Kang Hughes (b. 1987, Singapore) is a contemporary artist based in Ibiza. She paints from a space of the unknown.
She contemplates the many dimensions through stillness and introspection to form a coherence of perception. Her gestures are intuitive, rhythmic and uninhibited, giving way to paintings which are formed from a place where no time, memory or impressions exist.
Malvina works outdoors to give life to canvases, gathering colours with the elements to form compositions which reflects a potent depth and expansiveness.
Her work has been exhibited internationally and is held in private collections across the United Kingdom, Europe and Asia.
